Anti ISA street demonstration

ISA(Internal Security Act) is just a tool of the government. In Malaysia's constitution, it is unlawful to put a man under detention more than 24hours without any charges pressed against him. So, certain quarters are smart enough to come up with something called ISA. Under this act, any suspect that is a threat to national security will be held in Kamunting, Perak, for 2 years without trial.
Imagine this: I am somebody with power, and I don not like the way you go against me. ISA will come to you the next day. Guess what, you would not get a chance to go on trial for 2 years.
Blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin got this, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng got this too. For those who don't know, ISA was used during the British rule. That was during the communist era. Communists are obviously a threat to the nation's security(unless you idolise Karl Marx or kim Jong Il or Hugo Chavez). But, are these Malaysians any threat to the country? Why aren't they allowed trial?
