Anti ISA street demonstration

ISA(Internal Security Act) is just a tool of the government. In Malaysia's constitution, it is unlawful to put a man under detention more than 24hours without any charges pressed against him. So, certain quarters are smart enough to come up with something called ISA. Under this act, any suspect that is a threat to national security will be held in Kamunting, Perak, for 2 years without trial.
Imagine this: I am somebody with power, and I don not like the way you go against me. ISA will come to you the next day. Guess what, you would not get a chance to go on trial for 2 years.
Blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin got this, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng got this too. For those who don't know, ISA was used during the British rule. That was during the communist era. Communists are obviously a threat to the nation's security(unless you idolise Karl Marx or kim Jong Il or Hugo Chavez). But, are these Malaysians any threat to the country? Why aren't they allowed trial?

If this happens to you in th police station, you will never get justice. The police will lock you up until all your bruises are gone. That's what happened to A.Kugan. He died in vain. The police reported that he died because of too much water in the body. But when the post mortem results came out, his body was full of black blue bruises. Lets just hope that justice will prevail. If not, more will happen in future. Let's just pray that Malaysia will be a better place to live in. Whether we are Malays, Chinese or Indians, or even Kadazans, Dusuns, Muruts, let's just live in peace for our grandchildren's sake. I love Malaysia.

Police beating up peaceful demonstrators

Anwar Ibrahim's promise

The ending part is a bit hilarious... haha..haha

This Opposition leader is really something. He made that speech in February 2008, somewhere in Kajang, Selangor, a month before the General Elections. He said that when BN wins in March, they will raise the petrol price on the first day of April. Surprisingly, it was correct. The BN government raised the petrol price by RM1 a litre. Based on this implication, we can make a few assumptions:
1. The increment was planned long before. The BN government held back the decision in order to maintain the votes and cheat the rakyat. That is why they opted to raise the price after the General Elections.
2. Petronas "donates" billions to the government every year. A question arises. Is the government short of money? Did they spend too much to win the voters' hearts? So, when Petronas earns more, they can give more lah?
3. Anwar must have spies in the government. Imagine his influence in the parliament. No wonder the government are so eager to accuse him of sodomy, corruption or whatever allegations and slanders.

I love Malaysia. Please vote for a change, to ensure Malaysia is a better place to live in. How about you?

Just Change for Malaysia-Tony Pua(Member of Parliament for Bukit Mertajam, Penang)

Note:
1.See how the police beat the demonstrator, I suspect they are FRU(Federal Reserve Unit)
2.See the mass rally with yellow shirt, it's the Bersih Rally organised by Anwar Ibrahim(wow, he has lots of support)
3.The Indian on the phone, VK Lingam, lobbying to be Chief Justice of Malaysia(see how corrupted our supposingly fair judiciary system is)
4.The woman squatting up and down in prison(a chinese), how humiliating that was.

This YB(Yang Biadap) ought to research more on whether Malaysia is an Islamic country. The following is why this YB is wrong when he stated that "Ini Negara Islam", or in english, it simply means Islamic State.

1. Malaysia's official religion is Islam under the Article 3 of the Federal Constitution, whereas Article 152 states that Malay is the official language of the country. When Malaysia acquired independence, a special committee led by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman submitted a memorandum to the Reid Commission referring to religion. The following is extracted from The Malaysian Bar Council referring to paragraph 169 of the memorandum.
“The religion of Malaysia shall be Islam. The observance of this principle shall not impose any disability on non-Muslim nationals professing and practising their own religion, and shall not imply that the State is not a secular State.”
SHALL NOT IMPLY THAT THE STATE IS NOT A SECULAR STATE. It simply means, Malaysia is a secular state.

2. If Malaysia is an Islamic state, what is the function of Parti Islam se-Malaysia(Pas)? Aren't they fighting for Malaysia to be the modernised Mecca?

3. To govern a country the Islamic way, you have to imply teachings from the Al Quran. Malaysia practises syariah, Islamic trading laws, Islamic civil laws, but not Hudud(Islamic Criminal Laws)? How can you say: "ok, I want to implement Islamic trading laws, Islamic civil Laws. Hmmmm. Hudud? No lah. Don't want lah. If I am caught stealing, my hands will be chopped off". My dear friends(Muslims), isn't Muslim or Islam practised as a whole? Can we pick to practise what we like, and not practise what we don't like?

4. Islamic countries has jurisdiction with accordance to the Al-Quran, just like what Prophet Muhammad did with his friend in Madinah. If Malaysia is an Islamic State, what is the name of Madinah when Prophet Muhammad and his friends governed it? They practise Islam as a whole, not partially.

My friends, especially the Muslims, I am not a racist, neither am I against Islam. What I am trying to stress, is that when Tunku Abdul Rahman got our Independence, it was because of the unity we showed, Malays, Chinese and Indians alike. UMNO has been covering and diverting facts of history, which resulted in many being in the dark. They can continue doing that, but whether we would allow ourselves to be sucked into his hole, is another issue. Malaysia for Malaysians=)

Banning bio on Mojuntin doesn't serve purpose
By: Supporter of the late Datuk Peter, Penampang

I REFER to "Why Bio On Mojuntin Among Banned" (DE Nov. 11) especially regarding the reason given by the Home Ministry in the answer to MP Dtk Eric Majimbun.
Among other things it was, thought "the author claimed that Christian priests were ordered to go back to their place of origin, lest they be jailed".
This may be an allegation to the Ministry, but I am one of the countless Sabahans who bid farewell to a few priests at the old KK airport when they were ordered out of the State during Usno era.
I also remembered reading about the arrest of priests in the interior by the army.
I have read the said book but, unfortunately, lost my copy.
Is the Ministry going to ban the memory cells of my brain or hope that the facts of history will die with our brain cells?
There are quite a lot of other books written which mention the same event and I wonder if these books are banned as well.
Besides, there are copies available on the Internet. So they better ban the Internet too.
I am definitely going to tell my children and grandchildren to study history, but not the versions we are told to believe.

Uproar over Native Cert

Extracted from Daily Express Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Kota Kinabalu: The possibility of native certificates (Sijil Anak Negeri/SAN) having been issued to non-natives took centrestage in the State Legislative Assembly, Tuesday, with the police, Election Commission (EC) and Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) being asked to investigate how opposition DAP Sri Tanjong Assemblyman Jimmy Wong obtained his.
Debating in support of the 2010 Budget, Sekong Assemblyman Datuk Samsudin Yahya challenged Wong to prove him wrong, adding that this concerns Wong's wrongdoing, credibility and morality.
"But if I am proven right, I am also challenging him to vacate his seat and let the people decide his position," he said.
Samsudin accused Jimmy of breaching ethics and integrity as an Assemblyman. Producing documents and pictures to support his allegations, he said the Sri Tanjung Assemblyman had also encroached into the government's TOL land and a children's playground, when renovating his house (see separate story).
He alleged that Wong's Native Certificate also raised suspicion which enabled him to buy land reserved for natives in the state (native land).
"He (Jimmy) is actually not eligible to be an elected representative because he cheated the people and the constituency," said Samsudin. Tempers started to flare when Samsudin labelled Jimmy Wong a liar, based on what he had done.
Wong who tried in vain to interrupt Samsudin a number of times, said the latter's accusations and allegations were baseless and that he should not have used such words like 'a liar' in the assembly.
Wong, in defence, claimed that he and his older brother applied for the Native Certificate after he came back from England in the early 1980s when the SAN was open for application to the public.
"So I applied. I was not born in China but in Sabah. So, am I not an anak negeri (native) also?" he asked. He claimed he never misused it to purchase NT-status land except to obtain a loan from the bank. With the certificate, he said the bank charged him a lower interest and that he became an elected representative not because he possessed a Sijil Anak Negeri.
And if the Government decides to abolish the certificate, Wong said he couldn't be bothered. He questioned why valuable time is spent to argue about his native certificate when the House could discuss more pertinent issues. The situation was later defused by Deputy Speaker Datuk Johnny Mositun who asked Samsudin to carry on with his debate of the budget instead. "If you think that it is not suitable for me, (then) take it back," he told reporters during a press conference after taking part in the 2010 Budget debate.
On Samsudin's query about a resort in Semporna owned by Wong, he said when he "bought" the property, it had been abandoned by the previous Japanese and local joint venture developers. Wong said a dispute between the project shareholders led to the abandonment of the resort.
At that time, he said Tun Sakaran Dandai, who was Chief Minister then, brought him to see the project and see if anything could be done about it.
Wong said the pirate attacks in Lahad Datu and Semporna made investors afraid to "touch" the project.
But then, Sakaran told him that if Wong were to revive it, it would help the kampung people a great deal in terms of employment opportunities. He said the previous developers had applied for the seafront but that until now the relevant authority has yet to act on it.
"If the Government is serious in developing tourism in the area, then it should be approved," he said, adding that he borrowed money from the bank to revive the resort.

How do we define who is a Bumiputera? Bumiputera in literal translation means "prince of the soil".
Our current Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, has openly admitted that he is a "keturunan Sulawesi". My God, Sulawesi is in Indonesia, not Malaysia. If Chinese and Indians are not elgible to be categorised as Bumiputeras, just because they originate from China or India, why is Najib a Bumiputera?
How about Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi? Badawi's paternal grandfather, Syeikh Abdullah Badawi Fahim, was of Arab descent, his maternal grandfather, Ha Su-chiang (also known as Hassan), was a Chinese Muslim who came from Sanya in Hainan. Is he considered an "immigrant" as well?
Let's discuss about our longest serving PM(22years)- Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad. His father, Mohamad Iskandar, was of Indian origin, being the son of a Malayalee Muslim (who migrated from Kerala). Is Mahathir an "immigrant" as well?
So, it seems that since 1981, we have been ruled by non-Malays that call themselves Bumiputeras. How do you define a Malay? Let's see what the Federal Constitution has to say about this:
1. You are practising Islam
2. Frequently speak Malay
3. Accustom to the Malay rituals

WOW. So easy to be a "Bumiputera"?! Now, let's ask ourselves two simple questions:
Supposingly I am a foreigner(wheteher an Ang Moh, a Mat Salleh or Orang Putih living in Malaysia)
1. Am I a Chinese, if I, am a Buddhist, speak Chinese, accustom myself to the Chinese rituals?
2. Am I an Indian, if I, am a Hindu, speak Tamil, accustom myself to the Indian rituals?
I will leave this for you all to ponder upon.

Kota Kinabalu International Airport

Extracted from Daily Express Wednesday, November 25, 2009

Kota Kinabalu: MP Dr Hiew King Cheu on Tuesday proposed that retractable blinds be installed to block direct sunlight on passengers waiting to board aircraft at Terminal One of the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).
He said he received complaints from annoyed passengers waiting to board flights to Kuala Lumpur, particularly the boarding gallery from Gate A1 to A5 that they felt like sitting inside an oven.
Hiew found that since there is no shade on the glass fascia, the passengers had to sit under direct sunlight, while the air-conditioning did not help much.
"This happens daily from 2pm until sunset. The glass fascia does not have any means of shielding them from the hot sun," he said.
Hiew said the airport authority should address this matter urgently as it might give a bad impression on foreign tourists.

*************************************************************************************

In response to the complain, the following is what our VIP said:
Extracted from Daily Express Thursday, November 26, 2009

Meanwhile, on complaints that direct sunlight was making it uncomfortable for passengers waiting to board aircraft in Terminal One, Rahim said it was actually the architect's innovation for the purpose of power saving.
"Direct sunlight gives the area a natural source of light, and since we are practising green technology, this is the best way to practise what we preach," he said.
He also said the people need not worry too much about the heat as it is also a natural source of Vitamin D.
"Why do the people have to be afraid of the sun? It's not that they have to wait there for hours, it's just a matter of minutes and they can have Vitamin D. It's a good thing right?
"We have to start being environmentally friendly and start being proactive to innovations like this," he said.
Abdul said machines in KKIA, which are directly exposed to sunlight, will be covered by canopies and that MAB would work on this soon.

*************************************************************************************

My comment

I have two questions:
1. Do you have a degree?
2. Does skin produce vitamin D upon heat, or sunlight?

If heat is the source of vitamin D, why not lock yourself in a kitchen or hide inside a blanket in your bedroom? I suppose, you use the rich people's method-sauna or steam bath. So, that is our beloved YB's source of Vitamin D. As far as I am concerned, The Institute of Engineers Sabah, use diffused or indirect sunlight for their training centre at KKIP. They never use direct sunlight. The point of this- to remove as much heat as possible while applying green concept.
So, if this multi-million project in line with the "1 Malaysia" concept is carried out, one element is missing from the "rakyat didahulukan, pencapaian diutamakan" slogan. Ooops, not one element missing, both elements are missing. Where is the "rakyat didahulukan" concept when the passengers get themselves discomfort, and "pencapaian diutamakan" concept, when the architect can use innovative ideas while designing these panels?
My suggestion, use tinted glass on the panels. Well, you can kill three birds with one stone:
1. Cuts cost as energy for air-conditioning is saved
2. Passenger's comfort guranteed
3. Vitamin D from the sunlight exposure

The Truth Behind May13

(Extracted from http://www.malaysia-today.net/)

They say those who forget history are doomed to repeat its mistakes. In light of the recent sabre-rattling by those in Umno and the warning by the Armed Forces Chief, Malaysia Today feels compelled to republish an old article by Raja Petra Kamarudin that was published in Harakah on 24 September 1999.

NO HOLDS BARREDRaja Petra Kamarudin
This is Part One of an article I wrote almost nine years ago, which was published in Harakah, the official media organ of the Islamic Party of Malaysia (PAS). History is not something that should remain buried. History is something that should be a lesson to all or us so that we do not repeat the mistakes made by those before us.In 1968, Umno fanned racial sentiments in a bid to 'unite' the Malays under its banner. Umno realised that the Malays were abandoning it in droves and it needed an issue to reunite the Malays. Further to that, the Prime Minister was being blamed for what Umno perceived as a loss of Malay support and the Young Turks in Umno wanted to also use this issue to pressure the Prime Minister into resigning.Twenty years later, in 1988, Umno again went into turmoil with the emergence of Team A and Team B, which eventually split into Umno Baru and Semangat 46. Again, just like twenty years before that, the Malays had become disillusioned with the Umno leadership and there was a danger that Umno would suffer the same fate it did in 1969 if the general election was called. The Umno leadership very cleverly got the Umno Youth and MCA Youth leaders to raise racial issues and bring the country to the brink of another ‘May 13’. This was when that infamous gathering at the TPCA padang in Kampong Baru was held and when Najib Tun Razak, the Umno Youth Leader, raised the keris and threatened to bathe it in Chinese blood.Of course, this second ‘May 13’ never happened. What did happen instead was that Operasi Lalang was launched and more than 100 opposition leaders and activists were detained under the Internal Security Act. Najib and the MCA Youth Leader, Lee Kim Sai, however, were spared detention, although they were the two main players in the whole episode. The ploy did not quite succeed though. In the 1990 general election, half the Malays swung to the opposition and Umno lost most of the Malay heartland to Semangat 46 and PAS.Twenty years on and history is, again, being repeated. It appears like every twenty years Umno takes the country to the brink of a race riot in its effort to 'unite' the Malays and to ensure that it does not lose Malay support. And the 8 March 2008 general election, as well as the recent Permatang Pauh by-election, is proof that Umno has lost Malay support.“The current situation is a repeat of 1969,” said Umno in its brainstorming session held at the Umno headquarters to conduct a post-mortem of the election results. “Therefore, a 1969 ‘solution’ will also be required.”This is very dangerous talk indeed. And Umno has been doing nothing but talking dangerously since March 2008, as evident in the recent episode in Penang. Maybe the culprit has since been punished. Yesterday, Umno’s Supreme Council decided to suspend Ahmad Ismail for a period of three years. But the damage has already been done and the suspension can’t turn back the clock. Racial sentiments have already been fanned and Malaysia, again, is being pushed to the brink of a race riot.Malays, Chinese and Indians need to know how May 13 started. They must be made aware of what May 13 was really all about. They must be made to realise that the current sabre-rattling is nothing but the same ploy that Umno used back in 1968 and 1988 whenever it felt that it was losing Malay support. May 13 was not about race although it is being touted as so. May 13 was about ‘reuniting’ the Malays and about ousting the Prime Minister from office. To forget history would be to repeat its mistakes. Let us not be taken in by Umno’s shadow-play (wayang kulit). They know they are rapidly losing power and they want to retain power through foul means by raising the spectre of May 13. Malaysians need to be matured and clever enough to reject this ploy. Umno can try, but whether it can succeed will all depend on whether we get suckered into this very dangerous race game.Let me take you down memory lane and recap what I wrote nine years ago so that we may learn from this dark history and not repeat what went wrong. As follows is what I wrote in Harakah on 24 September 1999.

*************************************************
A REPORTER’S ACCOUNT OF AN INTERVIEW WITH TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN ON THE 13 MAY INCIDENTThe following statement is a factual account of the above-mentioned event given to me by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman (first Prime Minister of Malaysia) during an interview at his residence in Penang in 1972. I requested to discuss the above incident and was surprised when the appointment was given within three days. His Secretary, a Chinese gentleman, allotted me one hour and advised me not to go into too much detail as this would tire the Tunku unnecessarily. In fact, the interview lasted three and a half hours. Because of the very surprising details provided to me, I think it would be best to report in a first-hand manner based on my notes written immediately after the interview.

“It was clear to me as well as the police that in the highly charged political atmosphere after the police were forced to kill a Chinese political party worker on May 4th, 1969, something was bound to happen to threaten law and order because of the resentment towards the Government by the KL Chinese on the eve of the general election. This was confirmed at this man’s funeral on the 9th May when the government faced the most hostile crowd it had ever seen. Therefore, when the opposition parties applied for a police permit for a procession to celebrate their success in the results of the general election, I was adamant against it because the police were convinced that this would lead to trouble. I informed Tun Razak about this and he seemed to agree. Now, without my knowledge and actually “behind my back”, there were certain political leaders in high positions who were working to force me to step down as a PM. I don’t want to go into details but if they had come to me and said so I would gladly have retired gracefully. Unfortunately, they were apparently scheming and trying to decide on the best way to force me to resign. The occasion came when the question of the police permit was to be approved. Tun Razak and Harun Idris, the MB of the state of Selangor, now felt that permission should be given, knowing fully well that there was a likelihood of trouble. I suppose they felt that when this happened they could then demand my resignation. To this day I find it very hard to believe that Razak, whom I had known for so many years, would agree to work against me in this way. Actually he was in my house, as I was preparing to return to Kedah, and I overhead him speaking to Harun over the phone saying that he would be willing to approve the permit when I left. I really could not believe what I was hearing and preferred to think it was about some other permit. In any case, as the Deputy Prime Minister, in my absence from KL, he would be the Acting PM and would override my objection.
Accordingly, when I was in my home in Kedah, I heard over the radio that the permit had been approved. It seems as though the expected trouble was anticipated and planned for by Harun and his UMNO Youth. After the humiliating insults hurled by the non-Malays, especially the Chinese, and after the seeming loss of Malay political power to them, they were clearly ready for some retaliatory action. After meeting in large numbers at Harun’s official residence in Jalan Raja Muda near Kampong Bahru, and hearing inflammatory speeches by Harun and other leaders, they prepared themselves by tying ribbon strips on their foreheads and set out to kill Chinese. The first hapless victims were two of them in a van opposite Harun’s house who were innocently watching the large gathering. Little did they know that they would be killed on the spot. The rest is history. I am sorry but I must end this discussion now because it really pains me as the Father of Merdeka to have to relive those terrible moments. I have often wondered why God made me live long enough to have witnessed my beloved Malays and Chinese citizens killing each other.”

This was a conspiracy at the highest level and nothing short of a power struggle, with the ‘Young Turks’ then forming the pressure group. To achieve their ends, they very cleverly used race to make the Malays rise and push the Tengku aside.Today, they are doing it again. This is dangerous politics. It may backfire and, instead, it may make the Malays rise against the non-Malays, like what happened in 1969 -- a fire raging out of control with no fire extinguisher in sight. We must never allow our country to be turned into a racial battlefield again. Let politics be issues concerning policies, civil rights, good governance and justice. Let us not allow anyone to bring race and religion into our politics lest we suffer the fate of many countries around us where mass murders of entire families are made in the name of ‘bangsa’ and ‘agama’.

Visit To Sepanggar Naval Base-part 2

The torpedo launcher(left), the red object is the torpedo with the fan(right)

Missile(Tomahawks are capable of reaching 5ooomiles or 10000kilometres-equivalent to reaching other continents)

Chafs(capable of creating a vision as big as an aircraft carrier)

Malaysian Navy(left) versus US Navy(right)

Visit To Sepanggar Naval Base-part 1

Went to the Sepanggar Naval Base yesterday. This is indeed an eye opener for me- to realise how "First Class Facilities, Third Class Mentalities" we are.

If you were to ever visit the naval base, you would be able to visualise this. I arrived at the entrance, got down the car to get approval to enter the supposingly highly secured naval base. Only now, I realise how insecure the security system is.

I admit I did not have any official papers to get in. I just told the security personals "I am here to visit MUSTIN- a US Navy Ship". The next thing I knew, I was on my way in. Leaving our(me and my friends) Identification Cards at the entrance, I then drove towards the jetty. WOW. What if I am a suicide bomber or a terrorist, would you be able to prevent a massacre or safe this naval base?

OK. Never mind. Let's just move on. Proceeded by visiting the highly sophisticated vessel. Was toured by officer on duty-Navy Mach. Thanks a lot. Salute, sir.

If you were to think that a torpedo is fired under the water, you ought to be updated. The Americans fire them from air into the sea, the torpedo would then search and lock down its target via its installed sonar system. Wow, you do not have to control it.

Ever heard of a chaf? I bet you never. A chaf is a rocket filled with aluminium foils. You should be wondering what are the aluminium foils used for right? OK, here it is. When enemies launch missiles, its sole purpose is to hit you. Anti missiles that are shot from ships are used to hit missiles that explodes upon contact or strong vibration. But missiles are getting highly sophisticated and advanced. There are missiles that explodes by itself when contacted with heat(used to gun down jet planes and normally explodes near the engines), there are missiles that explodes by itself for reasons I do not even know. Now, when the chaf launched into the air explodes, millions of aluminium foils will come out as well. This creates a signal in the enemy's radar and is aimed at confusing enemies. The missile will detect this as a target and explode in the air. The aluminium foil that explodes, can create an artificial image as big as an aircraft carrier, which houses 3000 crew-equivalent to a 10 times a 300 crew populated MUSTIN or a small town like Tanjung Aru.

Guess how far can a 50-calibre machine gun that are placed on the boat shoot. If you think it is within sight-range, you are wrong. Stand 3 miles out, or 6.6kilometres out, I can spot you and gun you down.

How about biological warfare? Well, when biological weapons are suspected to be at use, the vessel's door that are air tight shuts. The holes installed on the decks will then suck seawater and wash the whole deck. The seawater will then flow back into the ocean.

When will any Malaysians invent anything like a MUSTIN? My God, a lot of money will be saved. The greedy politicians would not be able to siphon the billions of dollars out of the country.

End of the experience on boat. Guess what. Something happened on my way out. Same place-the guard house at the entrance. I was to collect the Identification Cards left at the entrance. What the hell man? This Malaysian navy on duty(I suspect he is a West Malaysian Malay), took ten minutes to return 6 ICs. All he had to do was take the visit pass I was holding and put it into the
envelope containing the ICs.

When I arrived at the guard house, there were two people only, myself and another visitor in front of me. My God, when I was done, there were more than 12 people behind my back waiting for this sluggish officer. Guess how long I had to wait. Thanks to the government. They are producing this kind of people.

Dear ex-Prime Minister Mahathir, how to achieve Wawasan 2020 when Malaysia is like this? The world will see us as a laughing stock. Try achieving Wawasan 3030 when you fail Wawasan 2020.

About the blog, and myself

The Truth About Malaysian Politics is merely a blogsite where i express my views in relation to the Malaysian political scene. Articles in this blog vary from personal opinions or experiences to extracts from official online web portals such as Malaysiakini, Malaysia Today, Malaysianmirror, Malaysiainsider, Malaysia Bar council, etc..

I am eighteen this year(2009). Born and raised in the Land Below the Wind. Currently pursuing my form six in a local high school. I hope to inspire people around me, particularly the younger generation(as we will be future leaders of the nation), with this blog.

As I have always believed in a government of the people, by the people, for the people(Abraham Lincoln). It is however a sad thing, when the people whom we voted into power, betray the mandate and trust we have given them.

Newspapers, televisions, and other means of mainstream media, are controlled by people in power. And that is why, people like me, chose to start blogging. I am not saying that articles in the nespapers are lies. What I mean is- they write things they want you to know; they do not write things they do not want you to know.

Local television stations, RTM1 and RTM2, are used to spread the "good news" of the present government. Newspapers like Utusan Malaysia, The Star, are merely the mouthpiece of the two largest political party in Malaysia- UMNO and MCA.

Keep reading on... cheers=)
